In this pivotal role, you'll play a key part in ensuring our hotels and staff are supported by the very best digital platforms and business systems—enabling exceptional service and seamless guest journeys. You'll support the delivery of innovative application solutions, shape business-enabling systems, and help drive the adoption of emerging technologies such as AI.
This role combines application support with project coordination, giving you a unique opportunity to work across a variety of systems and hotel environments. You'll collaborate with internal teams, third-party vendors, and wider business stakeholders to ensure application initiatives and technology projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.
What You’ll Be Doing
Application Support & Coordination
- Own and maintain the Group’s application strategy, supporting the end-to-end digital customer journey in line with evolving technology trends.
- Drive ongoing improvements to application integrations—particularly those connected to our core PMS, Oracle Opera.
- Maintain system documentation, access rights records, license tracking, and support materials.
- Coordinate with vendors on patching, minor issue resolution, and enhancements.
- Support onboarding and rollout of new applications through training coordination and communication.
Project Administration
- Assist the Technology team with the full lifecycle of project delivery—from initiation to post-implementation.
- Maintain detailed project documentation, task logs, risk registers, and budget reports.
- Support scheduling of project meetings, updates, and deployment communications.
- Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) for application changes and upgrades.
Stakeholder & Vendor Engagement
- Liaise between hotel teams, IT colleagues, and third-party vendors to ensure smooth communication and support.
- Maintain key records on application vendors, SLAs, and contract renewal schedules.
- Support vendor evaluations and contract renewals as required.
- Collaborate with Group Head Office to ensure all systems and practices align with global policies, while using your insight to positively shape future standards.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in an administrative, coordination, or support role (preferably within IT or hospitality).
- Organised and detail-oriented with strong multitasking skills.
- Good understanding of business applications and willingness to learn hospitality systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with hospitality platforms such as Opera PMS, POS systems, or CRM solutions.
- Familiarity with project management tools like Asana, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
- Awareness of ITIL framework or service management concepts.
